Cheese for sure. I would go for the epoisses and also get proscuitto de parma ($30/lb). They also have amazing Norwegian cured salmon.

I'd probably go to the cheese counter and ask the salesperson to surprise me with a sampler of $50 worth of imported cheeses.

I can't tell you what else to buy ... but I insist that you buy at least the Sugar Tower (on sale for $20!): http://deandeluca.com/pantry/baking-ingredients/sugar-tower.aspx

Who do you know has a sugar tower? Really?

Top-quality salt and smoked paprika. Their Chinese five-spice blend is particularly sharp. It's always fun to pick up items not typically sold elsewhere, like super-fancy canned fish, uncommon mushrooms, rare small birds, a weird cheese, or old cured pork... Perhaps you could do five-spiced squabs stuffed with matsutakes or something like that. For more immediate satisfaction, their little meatloafs (meatloaves?) from the cafe are great.
